About Me
I am a curly hairstylist specializing in naturally curly hair, and from my own personal curl journey, I believe that natural texture is to be celebrated, not "dealt with." I work in partnership with clients as they navigate their own curl journey, in the studio and through their continued work at home.
Since finishing cosmetology school, I have completed training in Dimensional Artistry by Jessica Fitzpatrick of Beyond Texture, Curly Hair Artistry, and I have been mentored by my own stylist of 10+ years, Jamie Williams of Boho Curls. My cuts and styles focus on dry cutting and teaching proper cleansing and hydration techniques. There are NO chemicals nor heat styling with flat or curling irons in my service. I am wanting clients who wear, or want to learn to wear, their natural texture 90–100% of the time.
MY WHY
I want ALL curlies to know that their DNA is beautiful and deserves to be cared for just the way it is. My chair is a safe, collaborative place for you to be you!
Services
Dry cutting and naturally curly haircare is quite different from a standard salon experience. The cut is meant to last 4–6 months, maybe even longer, and the service takes a bit longer because it incorporates education on how to care for your hair at home. These techniques require extra training for the curly hairdresser, and therefore pricing reflects that. My ultimate goal is to empower you to be able to style your hair better than even I can. We learn about your hair and your hair's needs together.
NEW CLIENT FULL SERVICE
(Recommended for all first-time clients) Includes custom dry cut, detox, custom hydration & styling, and lots of curly haircare education, 2–3 hours
